Following the demonstrable success of the first two series, we hope that a third series of THE INVESTIGATORS will establish a permanent place in RTE's prime time schedules for high quality Irish Science and Innovation programming.
With a revised presenter-led format, this new and accessible magazine style programme will keep pace with developments across a wide range of sectors making the personal stories more immediate for the viewers.
Continuing to highlight some truly innovative Irish solutions to a number of the global problems facing mankind, the series will take account of the need to focus not just on basic but also on applied research and how directly the work is going to impact on people's lives.

x 52' HISTORICAL DOCUMENTARY SERIES
The WITCHHUNTERS of the Middle Ages led a terrifying march against the perpetrators of witchcraft and the occult. With historical reconstruction, this series will bring both the hunter and the hunted back to life; examining the lives and work of the WITCHHUNTERS, revisiting scenes of cruelty and torture, and re-enacting some of the key trials that condemned so many thousands of innocents to their deaths.
